Drury University - Softball Camps

Facilities & Directions

Meador Park, located in southeast Springfield approximately four miles from the Drury University campus, has served as the home of the Drury Panthers' softball program for its five seasons of existence.

The park, situated just to the north of Battlefield Mall, is a complex of baseball and softball fields that includes Thompson Field, home to the Drury softball program. Meador Park, built in the early 1960s, has been refurbished greatly since Drury became its primary tenant - with assistance from the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, permanent seats were installed, the enclosed press box was completely refurbished (with WiFi service made available) and many other amenties were added to the dugouts and playing field itself.

Meador Park was previously a home field for the NCAA Division I Missouri State Bears and over the past several years has served as the host site for the Missouri State High School Activities Association state championships as well as, for the first time, an NCAA-II MIdwest Regional hosted by the Panthers in May of 2013.
